BEGINNING OF MONTHS
With the citing of the moon anew each month, God's people are able to mark time according to God's biblical calendar and set God's annual festivals at the appointed time.
GOD'S WEEKLY SABBATH (FESTIVAL)
The fourth commandment specifies the seventh (7) day of the week as the day God made Holy from the very beginning, and so designated for man to worship, honor, and remember His creator and pause from his own labors. Observance of the Sabbath is basic and essential to a true Christian's relationship with God. It is a sign between God and His people. Obedience to this commandment was exercised by the patriarchs of old, Jesus Yeshua, His disciples, Paul and the New Testament church.
Genesis 2:1-3, Exodus 20:8-11, Leviticus 23:1-3, Isaiah 56:6, 58:13, Mark 2:27-28, Luke 4:16, Acts 15:21
GOD'S ANNUAL SABBATHS (FESTIVALS)
The annual festivals of God are to be embraced by True Christians today. They actually reveal God's plan for the REDEMPTION OF MANKIND. These festivals include seven (7) annual Sabbaths. Like the weekly Sabbath, they are a shadow of things to come. The festivals of God are memorials celebrating what the Messiah has accomplished, and rehearsals celebrating what He will further accomplish for the people of God in days just ahead when the Kingdom of God is established here on planet earth. Satan the adversary, has deceived the religious and non-religious world alike by giving them Holidays, counterfeit festivals that claim Christian authority, but instead are vain, heathen celebrations that find their origins in the Babylon Mystery Religion. These heathen parallel festivals include, Christmas, Easter, New Years Day, Halloween, etc. In like manner, the adversary has deceived the religious world by giving them the first day as a substitute for God's weekly 7th day Sabbath. God's annual festivals include:
| Passover Unleavened Bread Pentecost |
Trumpets Atonement Tabernacles |
| The Eight Day/A New Beginning | |
These festivals were kept and celebrated by the patriarchs of old, Jesus Yeshua, His disciples, Paul, and the New Testament church.
